Analysis of horror trailers (my initial idea)

Before i decided to switch to a superhero comedy genre it was my initial idea to produce a horror film. Here are some of the conventions of horror film trailers i found during the early stage of my research and planning

Halloween Trailer

Narrative
Music indicating that a frightful moment is coming up buildings suspense
A disruption of normality happens
Shallow focus is used as the women walks up to the scary manikin
Action is interrupted by credits on the screen
Death and blood
High pitch screaming and dialogue "help me help me"
Faster editing toward the end of the trailer to show the chain of events
