Production company logos that i found during my research into my initial idea of producing a horror film (A2)
Below are the production company logos I found during my research which i felt were suitable for my initial idea of producing a horror film before changing my idea to producing superhero comedy film
After conducting some research i have decided that BLUMHOUSE PRODUCTIONS would be an appropriate production company for my film.
Blum house is known for producing low budget horror films. Blumhouse is also commonly used in horror films such as Paranormal Activity, Insidious, and sinister this will give my horror film trailer a more authentic feel to it as people who watch horror films would recognise this
Another Production Company I have decided to use for my film is Ghost House Pictures. Again this a Production Company commonly used in horror films which fits my trailer type. The Logo also suits the genre of my films as its in dim light where an evil smiling skull suddenly moves into view from the left
Dimension Films is another film production company i have decided to use because they have produced and distributed numerous genre film, largely horror, sci-fi, and action films. Dimension films would also be a sensible production company to choose as in 2008 the company introduced the Dimension Extreme division, a DVD Label for extreme cinema, which mainly consisted of domestic and international horror titles
The reason why i have decided to chose universal productions is because its a big production company with a strong reputation for making horror films, Universal also has a good relationship with many cinema's which will make it easier for my film to gain recognition and popularity around the country. The fact that universal productions is a big production company may also help me with funding for my film.
Hammer Film Productions will also be a good choice because they are an experienced company with a known history of featuring in horror films. Many of these films involved classic horror characters such as frankenstein, Count Dracula, and the Mummy. Hammer also have strong financial muscle as they have dominated the horror film market enjoying a worldwide distribution and considerable financial success. The success was due to their connections and partnerships with Big Studios such as columbia pictures and warner bros. This is something my film could also benefit from
