Production Companies I used

Image
After carrying out careful research i have decided to use 'Fox Searchlight Pictures' as a one of my production companies for my film Fox searchlight pictures is an american film studio that is a subsidiary of Walt Disney Studios. Fox searchlight pictures is also known for producing for independent and low budget films which my suits me due to the fact my film is very low budget. Fox searchlight has also produced for films within my genre such as Bird man and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. This may give may film a better feel of realism as those who have seen these films within my genre will recognise the production company I also decided to use Film 4 would be an appropriate production company to use Film 4 also has a reputation for producing for low budget independent films

The name of my film and why (A2)

After conducting some careful research into film names of my chosen genre to help me gain ideas i have decided to name my film: SPECS MAN I have chosen this name because i believe it goes well with the theme and genre of my film as any audiences will recognise straight away after reading the film title that my film belongs to the superhero comedy genre

Potential pieces of music I researched and considered using for my initial idea of producing a horror trailer (A2)

Image
I decided to compile these two pieces of music because it suited my trailer type and storyline as i knew it would build tension and create suspense for the audience. Leading up to the killing of the 'bestfriend' who killed his brother the audience will be able to sense where a scary or jumpy moment is coming up. The Music i looked at was also suitable for my initial trailer idea because the fast nature goes with the final scene the guy who has had his brother 'accidentally' killed by his best friend is on a serge or mission to find and seek revenge on his so called 'best friend'

My decision on the 2 types of trailers I want to create and why (A2)

I have decided that i want to produce two TV spots because I believe that TV spots provide more excitement for the audience as they usually last shorter than teaser or theatrical trailers, they don't too much away and for me that builds more excitement for the audience ahead of the release. TV spots also usually involve much quicker/faster editing which builds suspense and tension
